Campuses

Learn about each of our unique campuses as well as what it’s like to be a student at the Bible Institute.

New York Campus

Our New York campus is located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York. Because of the location there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the environment and take part in one of the many outdoor activities that are available. There are also many unique ministry opportunities that students partake in. In the fall all students attend an Open Air Evangelism trip to NYC, during the winter months students help minister to teens at Snow Camp, and during the summer all students work at one of our summer camp locations. Combining environmental beauty with unique ministry opportunities our New York campus is a great place to start.

Florida Campus

The Word of Life Bible Institute in sunny Florida is located in Hudson near Tampa Bay. The student life atmosphere can best be described in one word, “family.” Students spend the year concentrating on the Word of God together and then applying their knowledge through many ministry opportunities throughout the year. Summer camp is one of the biggest ministries the students look forward to where they engage and disciple students. Here in Florida we know how to have fun too! No matter which direction you go, you are bound for the beach; whether Tampa Bay, Clearwater or Hudson Hole you’ll enjoy the hot sand and cool water.

Canada Campus

The Word of Life Bible Institute in Canada has a dynamic student life atmosphere while seeking to develop the spiritual, social, and disciplinary aspects of each student's life. Students spend the year focusing on the Word of God while developing the disciplines needed to succeed in their future ministry or vocation. And we also have fun! As a student at the Bible Institute you will have opportunities to go rock climbing on the Niagara Escarpment, hiking through our many wooded trails, or relaxing at the beach on the Georgian Bay.

Campus Life

Bookstore

A bookstore located on the WOLBI campus is available to the students. The Campus Bookstore offers textbooks, Christian books, gifts, cards, living necessities and Word of Life signature clothing.

Health Care Services

Our New York and Florida Campuses have a Health Center facility (with residential nurses) that provides assistance with the health care concerns of students, including access to physicians and health education. The mission of the Word of Life Health Services Department is to provide excellence in ambulatory health care that promotes a healthy population based on biblical principles. This is managed by the Health Services Coordinator who is a New York State Licensed RN. Please note that our South Korea Campus does not have a residential nurse on staff.

Safety and Security

WOLBI has an emergency plan for promoting student safety in event of various emergencies involving the campus. The emergency plan is disseminated to all faculty, staff, and students through the Faculty Handbook, the Student Handbook, and in safety meetings.

There is an on-campus staff member for every dorm area who ensures that all emergency procedures are adhered to and followed. We have a text alert system where students and staff can voluntarily subscribe and can quickly receive information about emergency situations on campus and receive instructions from school administrators.

Access to campus facilities is open during the day but locked during the night. For all campus emergencies we have a 24-hour emergency line answered by Bible Institute staff. An RN, EMT, or First Aid Staff member is available on-campus.

New York Campus

Since the campus is located in a rural community in upstate New York there is very little criminal activity.

Florida Campus

We have an emergency plan for promoting student safety in the event of various campus emergencies. This plan is disseminated to all faculty, staff, and students through the Faculty Handbook, the Student Handbook, and in safety meetings.

Every dorm area has an on campus staff member that ensures all emergency procedures are adhered to and followed. Students and staff can voluntarily subscribe to our text alert system to quickly receive information about emergency situations on campus and receive instructions from school administrators.

There is little criminal activity on campus. We also have a video surveillance system for added protection and safety of both our students and other guests.

In compliance with Federal Law, Word of Life Bible Institute annually publishes and makes available a crime report containing the crime statistics for the most recent three-year period. You can view a summary of this information below and more details are available at ope.ed.gov/security.
