The Word of Life Bible Institute in sunny Florida is located in Hudson near Tampa Bay. The student life atmosphere can best be described in one word, “family.” Students spend the year concentrating on the Word of God together and then applying their knowledge through many ministry opportunities throughout the year. Summer camp is one of the biggest ministries the students look forward to where they engage and disciple students. Here in Florida we know how to have fun too! No matter which direction you go, you are bound for the beach; whether Tampa Bay, Clearwater or Hudson Hole you’ll enjoy the hot sand and cool water.

Student Life

During the year there are many activities both on and off campus that our students take advantage of and enjoy, such as; our swimming pool and spa, four regulation sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, soccer field, and two full sized basketball courts.

Our facilities include a wellness center or weight room, a student lounge with two 60” entertainment centers, and periodically our paintball, climbing tower, and water slide are open for use. Take a stroll down to our campus lake and enjoy the scenery, play some ultimate frisbee or drop in a line and catch some fish.

Venturing off campus you are minutes away from multiple Florida beaches and only 40 minutes away from Busch Gardens and Adventure Island in Tampa. It’s easy to make a day out of Disney or Universal being that it’s simply an hour and a half away from campus. Check out the four large shopping malls within an hour from Word of Life and then relax while tubing down the Weeki Wachee River.

We have a text alert system where students and staff can voluntarily subscribe and can quickly receive information about emergency situations on campus and receive instructions from school administrators.

Access to campus facilities is open during the day but locked during the night. For all campus emergencies we have a 24-hour emergency line answered by Bible Institute staff. An RN, EMT, or First Aid Staff member is available on-campus.
