What is your name, can you tell us about your family?
My name is Cassidy Espinoza, I’m from Grand Rapids, Michigan! I have 3 sisters, two amazing parents, and a super cute dog.
Tell us about your salvation experience.
I came to know Christ when I was five years old. My mom was giving me a bath, and she led me to through the Gospel that night. Then during my freshman year of high school, I rededicated my life to God at summer camp.
Tell us about your role as a team member of Word of Life Bible Institute.
I work in the Marketing Department at Word of Life Bible Institute. I coordinate photography and social media!
What is your favorite memory of WOLBI as a student or staff member?
My first year as an intern, I went on a Mission’s Reality trip to Paraguay with the second-year students. That trip was very eye-opening for me and gave me a better understanding of how important it is to support global missionaries.
What is your life verse and why?
One of my favorite verses is John 8:12: “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life’”.
Why do you love serving students?
I love serving students because of the tremendous impact that staff had on me while I was a student.
If you could speak to a younger you today – what would you say?
Since I’m only 21, I would probably tell my 16-year-old self to save more money and not to worry so much. The Lord is in control. I wish that I understood that better in high school.
