Word of Life Bible Institute is not your typical college. From your first day in the classroom, you will be immersed in our one-of-a-kind, accredited Bible program. You’ll study the Bible with top biblical teachers and scholars from across the country. You’ll earn credits that you can transfer to a four-year institution, such as Davis College or another partnering Christian school. Best of all, you’ll come away with a greater knowledge of Scripture that will help you continue to deepen your faith wherever God leads you.

The academic program here at Word of Life Bible Institute is unique in its exclusive emphasis on biblical studies. This means that you can set aside a full year to study the Bible at any of our 7 accredited teaching sites (New York, Florida, Owen Sound, Korea, Uganda, Hungary, and Mexico).

OUR FACULTY

The faculty team at Word of Life Bible Institute is made up of credentialed teachers and Bible scholars who are dedicated to helping students deepen their faith. Our distinct discipleship emphasis plays a key role in how we approach our staff-to-student connections. Our professors are both accessible and personable, engaging with students in conversation during class breaks and meals.

In addition to these resident teachers, our students also have the unique opportunity to study under a variety of adjunct faculty. Throughout the academic year, some of the most sought-after Bible teachers in the country come to campus and teach intensive courses on selected topics or portions of Scripture. This integrated approach exposes students to a diverse array of content and teaching styles in their dynamic journey through God’s Word.

ISRAEL STUDY TOUR

As a Bible Institute student, you will have the opportunity to complement your education in the classroom with a study-abroad trip to Israel! In this immersive, ten-day experience, you can walk where Jesus walked and explore key biblical landmarks alongside Bible Institute staff, alumni, and professors. This trip is sure to be a milestone in your faith experience.

ACCREDITATION

Word of Life Bible Institute is a member of the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS) [15935 Forest Road, Forest, VA 24551; Telephone: (434) 525-9539; e-mail: info@tracs.org], having been awarded Reaffirmation Ill of its Accredited Status as a Category I institution by the TRACS Accreditation Commission on April 25, 2022. This status is effective for a period of ten years. TRACS is recognized by the United States Department of Education (ED), the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), and the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).
