Roger Peace – President, Word of Life Bible Institute

Roger is a passionate leader with experience in multiple ministry endeavors. Having been in leadership roles for over 20 years at Word of Life Fellowship, (Missionary Services Coordinator, Vice-President of Ministry Services, C.O.O, and Chief Strategy Officer) and each experience has uniquely prepared him for leadership of the Word of Life Bible Institute.

Roger is joyfully married to Cathy, who serves alongside him in multiple ways. Together they have four children. Nathan, now married to Melissa, Marcus, Lauren, and Addison. Roger enjoys sports and in particular cheering on his children at sporting events, and of course the biggest fan of the Word of Life Huskies.

The Bridge: December 15

Dear Parents and Guardians,  As you might’ve heard from your student, Word of Life Bible Institute president, Roger Peace, has sensed the Lord leading him and Cathy in a new direction. With that in mind, he prayerfully chose to resign from Word of Life Bible Institute. Roger’s resignation will be effective at the end of this semester, December 17th. The Peace family has faithfully served in many areas of the ministry, including The Lodge, International Ministries, the Bible Institute, and camps. God has abundantly blessed through their capable leadership and investment in lives over the past 27 years, and they are leaving the Word of Life ministry on great terms and as dear friends and advocates. Please check out the information below on how your student can request transportation for breaks, and be sure to mark your calendars with the departure and return dates for Thanksgiving. Dear Parents and Guardians,  In this week’s edition of The Bridge, I’d like to introduce you to the Admin Team, share this week’s academics with you, and tell you some exciting news about our men’s and women’s soccer teams!   Academics Freshmen  This week, our freshmen will be studying the book of Proverbs with Dr. Stephen Bramer from Dallas Theological Seminary. Dr. Bramer has taught for the past 23 years at Dallas as a professor of Bible Exposition and has served as the Chair of the Bible Exposition department since 2009. Dr. Bramer also serves as the Teaching Pastor at Waterbrook Bible Fellowship in Wylie Texas.
