Roger Peace – President, Word of Life Bible Institute

Roger is a passionate leader with experience in multiple ministry endeavors. Having been in leadership roles for over 20 years at Word of Life Fellowship, (Missionary Services Coordinator, Vice-President of Ministry Services, C.O.O, and Chief Strategy Officer) and each experience has uniquely prepared him for leadership of the Word of Life Bible Institute.

Roger is joyfully married to Cathy, who serves alongside him in multiple ways. Together they have four children. Nathan, now married to Melissa, Marcus, Lauren, and Addison. Roger enjoys sports and in particular cheering on his children at sporting events, and of course the biggest fan of the Word of Life Huskies.

Dear Parents and Guardians,  I’m excited to share this week’s updates with you! Keep reading to learn how you can plug in to WOLBI and connect with your student’s world on an even deeper level through chapels, Learn the Word, and Huskies Athletics. We will also share with you a few updates related to COVID-19.  Academics Freshmen  This week, our freshmen will explore the book of Joshua with Dr. Dan Anderson. Dr. Anderson currently serves as the president of Appalachian Bible College in Mount Hope, West Virginia. He holds a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Studies from Grace Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Theology in Historical Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. Sophomores The sophomore class will be studying the book of Psalms with Dr. Mark McGinniss this week. Dr. McGinniss teaches Old Testament at Clarks Summit University in Pennsylvania, where he also earned his Master of Theology and Doctor …

Dear Parents and Guardians,  It’s incredible to think that we are a month into classes! Students have settled into the routine, made new friends, and are growing in their faith in incredible ways already. I’m excited to share some WOLBI updates with you. Academics FreshmenThis week, the freshman will be focused on studying Systematic Theology with Dr. Tom Davis and Research & Writing with Mrs. Britney Sewall. Mrs. Sewall serves as a part of Word of Life’s resident faculty team as an assistant professor; she earned her M.Ed from Clarks Summit University, where she also serves as an adjunct professor. Dear Parents and Guardians,  As the leaves have begun changing, I have also seen change beginning to take place in the lives of students across campus. Academics Freshmen  This week, Mr. Greg Stier will be joining the freshman students for the Personal Evangelism course. Mr. Stier is the founder of Dare 2 Share Ministries and previously served as a pastor, church planter, and youth leader. He is also the author of numerous books.
