After you graduate from Freshman and Sophomore Year at Word of Life Bible Institute, you will have the opportunity to complete one of our two-year internship programs. Each internship is designed to fuel your God-given passion for ministry.

WHAT IS YOUR PASSION?
The Academic Internship supports the Academic Department at Word of Life New York by assisting with administrative tasks, student support, and event coordination while also engaging in discipleship and campus life. This Internship is ideal for individuals with a heart for mentoring students.
The Athletics Internship assists the Athletic Department with gameday operations, administrative support, and event planning. This role requires prior experience on a Word of Life athletic team and a willingness to attend home and away games, participate in staff meetings, and regularly connect with the Athletic Director.
Biblical Counseling Internship (BCI)
Biblical Counseling Internships learn the fundamentals of biblical counseling while gaining first-hand experience in counseling ministry. They observe and work alongside experienced counselors at the Center for Biblical Counseling on our New York Campus.
Bible Institute Student Services Internship
The Student Services Internship helps operate the Student Services Desk, assists with student support, and contributes to events run by the Ministries Department. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, people-oriented, and flexible in a dynamic campus setting.
Camping Ministries Internship (CMI)
Camp Ministries Internships work alongside full-time staff at one of Word of Life’s Youth and Family Camps as they learn the various aspects of camping ministry (including camper counseling, recruitment, marketing, operations, and programming).
Cross-Cultural Internship (CCI)
Cross-Cultural Internships use their unique talents and strengths to serve in one of the 81 countries where Word of Life has established ministries. They learn how to build a support team, navigate culture shock, and minister alongside full-time missionaries.
The Enrollment Internship supports the recruitment and enrollment process at the Word of Life Bible Institute. This individual helps guide prospective students, manages admissions logistics, and participates in outreach. Ideal candidates are organized, relational, and passionate about discipleship and student ministry.
The Live Production Internship helps plan and execute high-quality events across Word of Life Ministries by operating production equipment, training students, and contributing creative input. This role is perfect for individuals with a technical background and a passion for both ministry and event production.
Marketing and Media Internship (MMI)
The MMI program develops marketing professionals to effectively share the message of Jesus Christ through creative arts like video, photography, writing, and design, as well as strategic tools such as email marketing and social media. Participants will learn to develop marketing plans and execute campaigns that amplify Christ-centered communications globally. Graduates will be equipped to enhance the reach and impact of local and global ministries.
Property Services – Housekeeping Internship
The Housekeeping Internship plays a vital role in maintaining clean, welcoming indoor spaces across the New York campus. This individual should be experienced with various cleaning tools, able to work on a team, and eager to serve the Lord with humility and diligence.
Property Services – Maintenance Internship
The Maintenance Internship supports the upkeep and improvement of campus facilities by training in areas such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems. This Internship combines hands-on technical work with discipleship and is ideal for those eager to grow in practical trade skills while serving in a ministry environment.
The Student Fusion Internship works alongside Word of Life staff to promote, coordinate, and lead an International Ministries trip each July. This Internship is ideal for individuals passionate about mobilizing others for global missions and sharing the work the Lord is doing around the world.
Transportation Ministry Internship
The Transportation Internship oversees vehicle scheduling, maintenance, and team transportation for the Ministries Department. This role blends administrative leadership and hands-on service, offering a unique opportunity for discipleship and logistical coordination in a ministry setting.
The Worship Arts Internship assists in leading the music ministry of Word of Life Florida towards excellence for God’s glory.
Youth Ministry Internship (YMI)
The Youth Ministry Internship (YMI) is a two-year Internship for graduates of Word of Life Bible Institute’s sophomore year program who are interested in serving in youth or children’s ministry in a local church.
Youth Ministries Coaching Internship (YMCI)
The Youth Ministries Coaching Internship is a two-year program designed for graduates of the Word of Life Bible Institute’s second year program, equipping them for a career in youth ministry as Word of Life field staff. Participants will complete their bachelor’s degree through a partner school while gaining hands-on ministry experience. Internships will live and serve on the Bible Institute campus, disciple students, and travel across the U.S. to work alongside field staff in local churches. This Internship includes planning youth outreach events, organizing evangelistic Reverb events, and receiving one-on-one mentoring to develop leadership and ministry expertise. With comprehensive training and practical experience, YMCI fosters personal growth and prepares participants to reach youth with the Gospel.
