Veterans Benefits
We appreciate and respect all of the men and women who have served our country. We’re honored to have you attend the Bible Institute and we want to help make the admissions process as smooth as possible. Please note that Veterans Benefits are presently only available for those planning to attend our New York Campus.
The first step toward using your V.A. Benefits at the Bible Institute is to apply online. You will then be assigned an Admission Counselor. Once accepted, you will be requested to pay the Confirmation of Attendance fee.
MINIMUM GRADE REQUIREMENTS
Students receiving V.A. Benefits must meet the standard of academic progress (SAP) as outlined in Section II of the Student Handbook.
REQUEST BENEFITS CHANGE
Students who have received V.A. Education Benefits at a prior school must complete form 22-1995 Request for Change of Program or Place of Training.
The V.A. will process your application and issue you a Certificate of Eligibility for Educational Benefits. Your Certificate will state the type of benefits, the amount of benefits, the number of months of eligibility and the date the benefits expire.
You will need to submit a copy of your letter of eligibility to the WOL School Certifying Official (SCO) located in the Business Office. Questions can be directed to this office regarding V.A. benefits.
The WOL SCO will complete the enrollment certification form and submit to the V.A. Regional Office in Buffalo, N.Y. The V.A. processing times vary and it could take up to 12 weeks for your claim to be processed. Apply early!

OTHER DETAILS
Students using benefits from the VA must provide a Certificate of Eligibility prior to enrollment. In the event funding from the VA is delayed, the school will not penalize the student by assessing late fees. The institution will not require that student to borrow funds to cover amounts pending by the VA. During this period of delayed payment, the student will have full access to all classes and facilities.
Students with a credit balance can request a refund through the Business Office. Students who withdraw from school are required to complete a Withdrawal Form through the Dean’s Office. Upon receipt the SCO will notify the V.A. of the withdrawal date and of any unexcused absences. In the event the V.A. determines there was an overpayment of V.A. funds you will be billed for the amount of overpayment. This over-payment will be due to the V.A.
