second year program
During our Second Year program at the Bible Institute, students take their faith even deeper. The program builds on classes and experiences that students had during their First Year including finishing important books like Genesis and Revelation. Students also learn important foundational truths such as Apologetics and how to reach other religions with the Gospel. The focus of our Second Year program is to develop powerful ministry skills in the lives of students.
Cross cultural internship
The Cross Cultural Internship sends college students to mission fields around the world, giving them the opportunity to serve as a missionary while earning a college degree. This two year internship consists of intense training, support raising, and service in one of 67 countries.You’ll learn how to navigate culture shock, build a support team, lead a missions team, remove barriers and minister across cultures. CCI interns will receive discounted schooling while they are on the field.
youth ministry internship
The Youth Ministry Internship places college students at local churches across the United States, giving them an opportunity to serve alongside a youth pastor or children’s ministry pastor. They will gain hands-on ministry experience and in-depth training while serving in the local church, as well as receive further training after the placement on how to lead and direct a student ministry. YMI interns will raise support and receive discounted online schooling as they participate.
Israel Study Tour
Join Word of Life Bible Institute students, alumni, staff and professors from multiple campuses to explore the places where the events of the Bible happened. Visit over 40 biblical sites. See the latest in Bible archaeology. Enjoy your daily time in God’s Word by the Sea of Galilee. This trip is sure to be a milestone in your faith experience and you’ll learn even more about God’s Word with first hand experiences about the Biblical Geography and customs.
Resident Leader Program
The Resident Leader Program allows Bible Institute grads (with the occasional exception) to stay and work at Word of Life. RLs will typically work 40 hours per week in various departments and live on campus. They work for the ministry of Word of Life gaining valuable skills. Each RL has the opportunity to work towards finishing their degree at a discounted rate through certain online schools, and are involved in Bible studies, fellowship activities, and discipleship opportunities.
